Summer Hiatus

Well, it's been awhile since I've sat down to write. And my little 9 month old wild man is playing and watching me as I type this. Hmmmm, and I wonder why I haven't had time to blog this summer.... ;)

I have tried to soak up every minute of my summer break with the G man. He is changing every single day, and I don't want to miss one second of it!

We had a wonderful summer. He is crawling everywhere and is faster than the speed of light. He has 3 little toophers now and loves to eat whatever momma and dada are eating-never baby food. Never. We had his 9 month appointment this week, and this little guy is in the 99.98th percentile in height! I wonder where he gets that from...

We spent 2 beautiful weeks in Florida with family. Graham just wasn't a huge fan of the beach. He didn't really like the sand, and it got everywhere. He didn't mind the water for the first 5 minutes, and then he was done with that. He really didn't like the heat. Once he hit his capacity of the hot Florida sun beating down on him, he was done with everything. Except the AC, of course.

With all that said, we would do it again in a hearbeat. We got to spend quality time with family the entire time. And Graham really wasn't that bad; he just changed the meaning of a relaxing beach vacation. ;) Here is a picture montage of our vacation.

We decided to drive through the night on the way there. We thought it would be best for the babies to sleep the majority of the trip. We even got Graham his very own little travel pilow. He was such a trooper to and from. He didn't have one melt down from being in the car for hours and hours.

Here is a picture of G's lovely room. AKA our closet. We made the most use out of the space we had. He loved standing up and beating on the wall. We loved it, too.... ;)

Graham and his sweet cousin, Emma. G was crying in this picture, which is why I faced him in that direction to take the picture. Ha! It turned out to be pretty cute though.

This was our attempt to stay out on the beach a little longer. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

He began warming up to the whole beach thing by the end of the 2 weeks. Cutie pie.

G and his daddy. The water was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l that day!

My love.

This is his new smile. It looks a little like Chucky, but that's not creepy at all. Right?

HA! Tasting the window. No big deal...

He really does bring a newfound joy on vacations, and life, really. We get to experience everything through him, which is so much better. I love that he got to spend so much time with his wonderful clan of a family, and that they got to spend so much time with him. I love that he got to experience sand in between his toes and jump over the waves washing up on the shore. He got to see a baby shark that his aunt and uncle caught and little crabs crawling around.

Can you tell we had a great time? Thank you, family, for all the memories.

Now it's back to reality. But, we had a great summer hiatus in the Tucker family.

Bring it on, fall. I am so ready for your cooler temperatures and your beautiful leaves.
